Job Title: Technical Writer - Supply Policies and Procedures
 

Position Summary:
 

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team.

 

  • In this role, you will be responsible for developing, writing, and editing comprehensive supply policies and procedures.
  • You will work closely with various departments within and outside of Supply to ensure all documentation is accurate, clear, and accessible, supporting the efficient operation of our supply chain processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with supply chain managers and stakeholders to understand and document supply policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct interviews and gather input from subject matter experts to accurately capture complex supply chain processes.
  • Develop, author and maintain clear, concise, and well-structured documentation, including policies, procedures, and process guides.
  • Edit and update existing documentation to reflect process changes and improvements.
  • Participate in meetings, present drafts, and incorporate feedback efficiently.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards, company guidelines,and legal requirements.
  • Utilize appropriate documentation tools and software to produce high-quality written materials.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous enhancement of the documentation process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience (preferably 5+) in technical writing, preferably with experience in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
  • Strong ability to interpret complex information and translate it into user-friendly simplistic documentation.
  • Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the energy sector or related industry is a plus.
  • Certification in technical writing or related discipline.
